I loved Ryan and Rachel's wedding! They had such a fun group of people celebrate with them and the day could not have gone more smoothly.
I have known Rachel since school days and its always so exciting to hear from people you grew up with to document something special for them. At the time, Ryan and Rachel were living in Tennessee (they are now back in California! YAY!), so we did a majority of planning long distance and when they came to town we go together. You may remember their engagement session, which you can see here. I looovvved working with these two - they are so in love, fun-spirited, and easy.
Fast forward to their wedding day, the venue was on a waterfront just across the street from a hotel. It was gorgeous and the space offered for the ceremony and reception worked perfectly. Ryan and Rachel opted to do something a little different for food and had a pizza oven cater! YES. A pizza oven. My kinda people. Pizza, pasta, salad - could their be a better combination? Everyone was guaranteed an awesome meal. So cool to see something different be done! The florals were also really beautiful. Florals are one of my favorite elements to see the day of a wedding. The centerpieces were terrariums filled with florals that lightly poured out on the tables and the bouquets had gorgeous roses and silver dollar eucalyptus. I also really love how simple and classy they went with everything. Nothing was over the top, but just the right amount for them.
Okay, and lastly can we talk about Rachel's dress? I was obsessed from the moment I saw it! The body of the dress flowed so beautifully when wind caught it and the low cut back gave me all the heart eyes. She looked amazing, and I also really liked that Ryan didn't do a full on suit for the wedding. It really suited (pun intended - ha!) the scenery and vibe of the day.
Here are some of my favorite highlights below! Thank you Ryan and Rachel for having me a part of such a fun celebration!! I am so honored to have been a part of your special day!
