Earlier this year an unexpected package showed up on my doorstep from my moms cousin. It was filled with documents, correspondence between relatives, photographs, and background of our family history dating back to the 1600’s. Crazy enough, I’m related to Martha Washington’s sister 😜

Anyway, because this year has escaped me with being fully immersed in my work, this box has been collecting dust under my bed. I finally pulled it out last night. Kat, my moms cousin, has asked me to complete our family tree. She is passing the baton on and giving me the job after her MANY MANY years of research. Come 2019, I’ll be trying to finish where she left off and hopefully make some new, interesting discoveries. ✨

Last night, I was up until a casual 3am researching and was able to find so many interesting documents and photographs of my family! FROM THE 1800’s! Needless to say, I’m dyyyying over here. Something I didn’t think I would be totally interested in has now become my new favorite personal side project. Let the games begin! 🎞🔍
